Intuition – Does it really work?

Everyone would have experienced a feeling where there is a sense of knowing, without any reason or logic. That gut feeling moments are nothing but a guidance coming from our inner-self – Intuition.

There has been enough scientific evidence how the concepts of telepathy or clairvoyance etc. are a result of tuning into the energy which mostly goes unnoticed unless one is conscious enough to be able to listen to the inner voice.

Our inner-self that is part of the higher-self constantly guide us on our true purpose of life but human mind is so entangled with the physical world that the voice goes unnoticed. As we work without tunning into the soul’s true voice, there are some hit and miss that we make in our daily life because we are mostly hitting the arrow with closed eyes. It’s like a the radio signals, if the frequency is matched, the result is harmony but if not then there is this

If we train ourselves to receive soul’s guidance consciously then there is no room for error. Our every try is going to hit the jackpot because we are doing what our soul wants to do and when if the soul is happy so you are.

Steps to tune yourself with your intuition

  • Positive Affirmations – Your subconscious mind is very powerful as it constantly generates the energy of those thought that eventually manifest. If you subconscious mind is building positive thoughts, then the outcome would be positive too. Start training your mind with the firm affirmation that
    • I am highly intuitive
    • I receive divine guidance
    • I listen to my intuition
    • My intuition always guide me to the right path
  • Meditation – Meditation is the key to still your mind. You can only listen to your inner voice when you mind is calm. Practice meditation for few minutes everyday. This is the very important and should not be skipped if you are really trying to be in tune with your intuition
  • Journaling – Write your thoughts, have a daily journal like stream of thoughts. Write as in if no one including you is going to read that journal. Write down your emotions, feeling no matter how awkward or unrelated they may feel. You may be surprised what insights it may reveal to you over the time.
  • Give yourself an opportunity to ‘try’ – Try to using your intuition in your daily life and listen to your gut feeling. It may feel like guessing initially and that’s okay. With continued mediation practice, you will be able to calm your mind and eventually will understand the difference between a guess and an intuitive feeling. You can also try working with divination tools like Tarot or Runes to do like daily card reading and predict how day is going be. Try to read the card using the intuition or how you feel like when looking at it rather than reading from the guide book. Although you can if you want to, but if you are training yourself to listen to your intuition, it’s good to give the brain a little practice that you shutting the brain and instead listening to the inner voice.

Do whatever you feel like but do not let your gut feeling pass easily. Give it a bit of attentions every time, even if you are in doubt that it may be just a guess, you never know how your mind can distract you, so just give another thought and even if you let the feeling go for now, keep the outcome in check if you were right. Such little things can really make a difference to boost the moral and also keep us on track in the practice 🙂
